For the vast majority of people Public speaking will be a talk at a birthday bash, a best mans speech at a wedding or a Eulogy at a Funeral Service. When you give yourself in service, you learn quite quickly the do and not do things. You might be reading this with a public speaking appointment imminent, your legs are shaking, you've got writers block and dont know what to say or do. Well the content is completely your personal choice. Heres my tips, good luck, and don't worry you'll be just fine, in fact once you've done it your want to do it again and again, there's a kind of buzz from public speaking, you might be speaking to 10 ladies at a Womans Institute Meeting but, you could be in Wembley Stadium addressing 82000 people, ok Ive got an active imagination sorry about that. Always try to prepare your evening, know what you want to talk about. Before you stand up, take a deep breath, let it fill your solar plexus, stand tall. pause. look at your audience before you speak, look at every single person like your speaking to them personally. Speak slowly and clearly, believe every word your saying and they will believe it too. If there are guest speakers introduce them and make it known who they are. If your doing a reading, say a bit about the content or if its a Spirit Guide, some information about them and their Medium, one cant work with out the other, always remember that, it will show the listening Audience you have some knowledge on the subject your talking about. I forgot to mention at the start always welcome the audience, any one new offer them an extra warm welcome. it will be fine, you'll want to do it again, its kind of addictive in a funny way. Good luck with your public speaking.......
