Brett Mills On Platform.
Brett did his first platform mediumship at the request of, and by the encouragement and guidance of the Medium Gillian Holland. It was held in a lovely, small, church/sanctuary on Thursday 7th May 2009.
Gillian felt that it would help Brett if he did his readings first, doing about 2 readings of around 10 minutes each, and then being able to relax.
Brett was very nervous on the drive there, but seemed to calm down for a short time while the practical side of the evening was being arranged. Table being set up, water being brought for the mediums, waiting for Gillian to arrive. Gillian and her husband arrived and Gillian came over to welcome Brett. When all was ready, he was called to the front of the room, the ‘platform’ area, to take the pride of place, alongside Terry, leading the evening, and Gillian the guest Medium.
Brett was well prepared, thanks to his meditational skills, which he told me began a few days previously. He called on his Guides to help him, and felt all was in place, as much as was possible, providing people sat where he had seen them to be seated through his meditation.
To me as a spectator, he looked nervous and pale while the service began and proceeded, but once his time came to do his readings he went straight into them. His readings were very accurate, and he sounded very sure of himself; although knowing Brett I knew he was probably quivering inside, and he told me later that was indeed the case!
While he still sat in the church area, he saw someone arrive, and was willing/wishing, them to sit on the left hand side of the isle. Once he saw this happen, he knew whom he was going to give messages to for both of his readings. His readings were accepted by the recipients, and although still looking nervous and rubbing his hands nervously, he was very accurate with his messages.
Gillian then took over the readings from Brett, in still a very warm, pleasant atmosphere, and later asked Brett if he wanted to do any more. At first he was unsure and turned it down, but seemed to suddenly tune in to someone and began another reading; however he lost his nerve when the person could not take his validations, (this sometimes happen, people may need to reflect on, or check facts) and Gillian took over; thus making it a lovely reading between both of them for a while. It all worked out fine in the end, once again showing me how sharing and guidance can help each other so very much.
After we finished, many people came over to thank Brett and tell him how good he was. Gillian encouraged this, and added her own congratulations to him, as indeed did I. As a friend I was really proud of him, his achievements, and how good he made people feel, for they came over and told him-so!
Well done Brett! Keep going, keep up the good work!
